1. Who are AIMS District Directors?
They are official district-level representatives of the All India Masters Sports Federation responsible for promoting Masters, Veterans, and Senior Citizens health & Fitness & sports.
2. What age groups do District Directors work with?
They support programs for adults aged 25 to 110 years, including Veterans and Senior Citizens.
3. What are the main responsibilities of a District Director?
- Promoting RKHL Program in your District
- Promoting health and active ageing
- Engaging the community in fitness programs
- Identifying and Registering New Life Members
- Coordinating with state and national bodies
4. Are District Directors paid positions?
Paid Positions: Paid positions are for individuals 21 years to 39 years.
Voluntary, roles are aimed at promoting community health and sports development.
Paid Positions begin with a stiphend of Rs.20,000 per month for the first 6 months. After the 6 months probation period they may be appointed as permanent employees based on their performance.
5. How long is the appointment valid?
The term is determined by AIMS, usually for a fixed period such as 2 years.
6. How can someone become a District Director?
They will be nominated/approved based on Senior Health & Fitness Involvement, sports involvement, leadership qualities, and commitment to promoting Masters, Veterans & Senior Citizens sports.
7. Can District Directors organise local events independently?
Yes, they can organise the RKHL Personal and Group Training Programs. They can organise Sports Programs with prior coordination and approval from their State Association or the Federation.
8. What support do District Directors receive from AIMS?
Guidelines, promotional support, updates, event frameworks, and coordination with state and national programs.
